knowledge of engineering drawing in different contexts. It includes apply knowledge of
engineering drawing fundamentals, produce drawings of fastening devices, welding
joints and screw threads, apply knowledge of machining and surface texture symbols,
produce advanced drawings in first angle orthographic projection, produce detailed
isometric drawings, produce drawings in third angle orthographic projection and use
curves of interpenetrations in drawings. This unit standard is intended for people
requiring fundamental engineering drawing skills as applied in different contexts.
