Socioeconomic and Political Structures of Namibia in Tourist GuidingĀ
This course prepares tourist guides to accurately and engagingly present Namibia's social, political, and economic structures to visitors. Participants explore population diversity, the democratic political system, national symbols, international alliances, and public health issues. Economic topics include key sectors such as mining, fishing, agriculture, and tourism, alongside national development strategies and protected areas. Guides are assessed on both factual accuracy and storytelling delivery. Prerequisite: Unit Standard 170. All content must comply with the Namibia Tourism Board's Code of Conduct for Tour Guides.
