Students will examine the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive milestones that shape children’s lives, as well as the diverse influences on their development.
The course emphasises a holistic approach, highlighting the importance of play, cultural diversity, and the “whole child” perspective in preparing children for school. Learners will reflect on their expectations of children’s behaviour and connect theory with practice in inclusive, multicultural contexts.
