This qualification recognises people who have the competencies required for
performing advanced bricklaying and plastering tasks. It is awarded to people
who have demonstrated the skills and knowledge required to perform
advanced bricklaying tasks, including planning, setting out and constructing
cavity walls, chimneys and fireplaces and multi-thickness walls and piers;
perform advanced concreting tasks such as applying decorative finishes to
concrete surfaces and renovating concrete structures; and perform advanced
plastering / rendering techniques.
