  • Course Description:

    The Community Counselling Level 3 course is designed to equip trainees with advanced practical skills and theoretical knowledge to provide effective counselling services within diverse community settings. The course builds on foundational counselling principles and focuses on complex issues such as trauma, substance abuse, family conflict, youth counselling, and HIV/AIDS psychosocial support.

    Trainees will learn to assess community needs, plan intervention strategies, and apply appropriate counselling techniques. The course also emphasizes ethics, communication skills, record-keeping, cultural sensitivity, and referral systems.

    Assessment:

    Formative and summative assessments will be conducted through practical demonstrations, case studies, role-plays, assignments, and written tests. Continuous Assessment (CA) contributes to the final Summative Assessment (SA) as per NTA guidelines.
