This training programme is intended to provide a course in (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration)
which fosters the development of both manual and intellectual skills? It describes what skills and 
knowledge a trainee will possess upon completion of the curriculum. The training programme 
provides guidelines with regards to training and assessment approaches. The programme also
outlines the time required for training per module, instructional strategies and the resources required 
to achieve the learning objectives.
2.0 AIMS
The prime objectives of this training programme are to:
 Appreciate scientific principles related to Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
 Provide trainees with knowledge and skills to draw and interpret electrical wiring for ACR 
system
 Introduce trainees to basic absorption refrigeration system
 Equip trainees with basic arc welding skills
 To equip trainees with knowledge of science related to ACR system

Welcome to the Bricklaying and Plastering course. This course aim to equip trainees with identified competencies specified in the occupational 
standards. The programme aims to:
-Train the trainees to acquire knowledge, skills and values that change the trainees' attitude to perform basic operation in construction 
industry to meet industrial needs.
- Transform bricklaying participants into self-employed and self-reliant citizens. 
- Improve employment opportunities and create a career pathway.

This unit standard specifies the outcomes required to apply basic entrepreneurship skills. It includes basic knowledge of characteristics of an entrepreneur, basic skills required to generate a business idea, basic market research skills, skills to determine costs and prices in a manufacturing business and application of creativity to develop a business identity. This unit standard is intended for people requiring basic entrepreneurship skills required to run a small scale business.
