This unit standard is intended for those who repair axles, drive lines, shafts and final
drives. People accredited with this unit standard are able to describe motor vehicle axle
types, describe drive lines and shafts, maintain independent rear axle, maintain front
axle, service front wheel drive axles and joints, service drive lines and its components,
service differential and final drive components, and maintain automatic and electronic
controlled differential locks.

This unit standard is intended for those who repair pneumatic and electronic controlled
brake systems. People accredited with this unit standard are able to describe
pneumatic and electronic controlled brake systems, inspect pneumatic and electronic
controlled brake systems, service pneumatic and electronic controlled brake systems,
maintain air controlled brake system, maintain retarder brake system, maintain exhaust
brake system, and maintain sensotronic brake control.

This course is an integration of Unit 2233 ( Repair -Electronic Ignition  system) & 2235 (Repair - Electronic Fuel injection).

This module is intended for trainees working in an automotive mechatronics environment who are required to diagnose, service, and repair electronic ignition and electronic fuel injection systems. It provides the knowledge and practical skills necessary to maintain modern engine management systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workshop safety procedures.
