entrepreneurship. People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate basic
knowledge of entrepreneurship and the characteristics of an entrepreneur, apply basic skills
to generate various creative business ideas and demonstrate basic understanding of
challenges related to entrepreneurship.
This unit standard is intended for those who Demonstrate knowledge and skills required to
be a successful entrepreneur. People credited with this unit standard are able to identify
potential business gaps and/or needs in the community; demonstrate an understanding of
the sizes and types of business ownership in Namibia; apply basic costing and pricing skills
to various products or services; demonstrate an understanding of basics of marketing; and
demonstrate an understanding of basic bookkeeping skills.
This unit standard is intended for those who demonstrate knowledge of emergency
preparedness and response. People credited with this unit standard are able to identify and
report dangerous situations; demonstrate knowledge of risk prevention and control
procedures; apply knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures; demonstrate
knowledge of hazardous substances and associated procedures; and use the safety tag
system.
The control circuit for a five heat stove switch is consist of the three elements and a switch five terminals that are switched into five different positions to demonstrate various power values and various resistance values. Therefore this course will highlight the practical applications of it.
